JimmyCorps - Don't Get Any on Your Boots...
As I am sure all that follow via twitter today a retweet from @demize99 started a conversation of back and forth tweets with other members of the community joining in.
Here is the original post which started it off:

My immediate response though a little rough linguistically, was to the point none the less.

@Demize99 Though only $10-$15. We are inundated with long lists of "not possible out of the box" Why we pay to beta test I'll never know.
@Gumby8888 well put. Again thru industry media propaganda, we are forced to pay more for less.

TLChicken: @Gumby8888 @Demize99 @Jimmy_Corps thats because the gap between consoles and pc is narrowing...so the need to make a PC is pretty much gone

@Demize99 Most of us are old enough to remember days of consideration of their integrity with their customers. All that is lost today.
That's all there is for now. I will post up any updates as the conversation continues.
This line of thought is nothing more than propaganda. Given flight by the so-called Gaming Industry Media who tow the line in hopes of gaining favour with the dev's and publishers. Take notice that the media rep's are more interested in their reputation with the dev's and publishers by posting exactly what they are told to than they are interested in protecting/improving their level of integrity with their followers.
We are the clients as we were in years gone by. However unlike the standards of old, today, those in the gaming industry have selfishly abandoned the integrity with their customers their predecessors worked so hard for.
They've traded in the belief of quality over quantity for the exact opposite through decietful marketing that is aimed at the easily manipulated younger generations.
One thought that has now just came to mind...I notice there's been a drop off of the "prevention of piracy" scapegoat response for why we now pay more for less.
It appears as I believe, to be a matter of the community tightening up and as one voice, letting dev's and pub's know that we are watching their every move and will not tolerate this constant mistreatment.
A couple last comments then I'll post it up for your feedback.
1. We are the consumers have a tough job ahead of us still. We have a responsibility to eachother to ensure we hold all dev's, pub's and so-called gaming media accountable for what they put out via product, marketing, etc...
2. Don't think for a second this is just about Dice. I do appreciate the time that Demize99 took on this discussion. Personally, I have no direct gripe with him as regardless of whether I agree or disagree with his posts, this is not about him personally but about dev companies, pub's and industry media as a whole.
We've seen the same propaganda from Activision, Infinity Ward, Treyarch recently amongst others.
The newest concern as was posted here on CGR previously, Kaos Studio's are starting to sneak in little changes regarding what will be offered when Homefront releases.
