Patch 238 Performance Issues - Hotfix incoming

So, there's all kind of people whining about losing ~30% of their FPS since patch 238.

Apparently, there may be a bug in the patch, and there's another ridiculously game-breaking bug of being able to have all 6 upgrades if you get 3 as a skulk and then if you get the other 3 as a higher life form (i.e. a gorge), you get all 6 (roflcopter).

So yeah, they dun guufd. Apparently, we're still in beta - and a hotfix is probably coming today / in the next few hours. Ironhorse (lead playtester) has been alluding to that.
 
There's also an issue with the harvester node for Aliens on Tram. If Aliens start in server, the harvester cysts die off at the start of the game and the harvester will slowly die unless the Khomm notices and recysts.

Also, this new cyst distance thing is such crap. If you build 2 cysts too close to each other, they both die, so you're pretty much spending 3 res to place 1 cyst.
 
Yes, the minimum distance removing both cysts is a bit retarded.

Also, the uncysted harvesters in spawn locations is an old bug from the beta; it's a bit sad it's making a return -_- ... thought they fixed that for good.
 
Iono what it was like in the old version, but this time, the bug is the cysts dying at the start of the round for some reason. Most likely due to the new cyst distance crap.
 
Wait... so you if you click to close both cysts die!?!?
 
Yes, the new cyst removes the old one and they both disappear (thus, you pay 3 res to "replace" a cyst).

The fail is strong with this one.

And yeah, that is a good hunch about what's going on with the cysts next to harvesters at spawn locations too. Just so much fail...
