Typical for Battlefield or really any online game. If it becomes overly toxic/affects gameplay we intervene.

No worries. I thought there was a filter/autoban thing on, and there's an in-game message indicating there is, but I guess it was turned off. I've just returned to playing after a year off so I will be remembering from how it was back then.
