Good luck bot! Remember it's 95% mental, although boot camp has changed a LOT since I went. I was in the last class before they started the Crucible, and the last class to hump the Grim Reaper. You going to Parris Island or San Diego?
 
Can't wait to hear what's changed, especially the gas chamber. Listen to your PMI if you aren't already an expert marksman and stay hydrated. Learn all your formation/marching/drill to a T, it will keep you out of trouble more than anything else. Remember you move the weapon around your head NOT your head around the weapon. That one gets most people the longest.

Best of luck Bot, and never, ever refer to your DI as "You". Little personal experience there! Since I was a MCRD SD, I can only echo what anyone says about the sand fleas. They were there when my grandpa went in 1928 and they are still going strong, I hear.

I was a Hollywood Marine too, but all the Paradise Island Marines I knew loved to bitch about the sand fleas.

The real marines are made in paris island. Dont as me why they base the best marine division out of CA tho.
