I was wondering about the bf4 server script that allows only certain vehicles. I really enjoy the infantry only server and would like to do the same on my rush server. I have looked all over but cant find the info that I need. Any help would be great. Again Awesome server!
 
It is not a script, though it might be able to be set in your servers startup script. Its an option one your GSP should give you in the control panel. Its "Allow Vehicles" in ours and as long as your running ranked and not official you can disallow vehicles on any mode that has them.
 
Thanks for the reply, I have done that but your infantry only server has quads in it, maybe its only certain maps that it allows. My server is ranked and vehicles are disallowed, I have been to a few infantry only servers and the TBG server is the only one that I have seen with quads. I wish that there were options to only allow transport and not armor and attack helos. Thanks again

FAST might get around to answering specifics on this. I haven't had much time in BF4 and I only manage server settings when something comes up. Infantry Only in BF3 if I remember correctly was a preset and yeah some maps had some small transport vehicles even after being restricted.

But we don't run any special settings not available as check or value boxes in our control panel. The rcon implementation also doesn't allow for setting anything our GSP's panel doesn't give us they pretty much have it covered.

I looked at the settings they have an IO preset we are slightly off from that but the only vehicle related setting is that one check box.
 
ok, thanks. I appreciate the info, I am currently using procon to set up the server , as my gsp Gameservers doesn't really have any special tools to set anything up other than using scripts.
 
We use procon as well for our custom in game admin, racial bans etc. But if you think you need a new provider check NFO out we swear by them though the data center's have been getting hit pretty hard lately.

Their control panel for Battlefield games is full featured and they even have a basic admin daemon for those that aren't using procon hosting etc. Below is most of the panel I cut it up into one image:

Whatever rain said pretty much summed it up except we are also running a script that sets the server to normal very quickly start of each round that probably allows these vehicles you mentioned. And then 5 minutes later goes into infantry only preset and stay infantry until new round again. So in essence, infantry only is with our provider and normal status is a procon plugin working together

This procon plugin is made by someone I know. It is called ticket time setter. Im sure he uploaded to procon's website.

Be warned infantry only is extremely difficult to start a server with. I would not recommend this but obviously your call. Setting your rush server will have it listed as infantry only

Also NFO has been seeing some attacks just because of their really good reputation. It comes and goes on daily/weekly basis so be mindful of that.

If you still decide to move NFO you can put us down for referrers ;)
