Sniping from Uncap? Possible rule?

I can't stand uncap snipers.

1) When you hit them, they hide behind something in their uncap, and heal.

2) They put their spawn beacon where it can't be destroyed

3) They cannot be knifed because we can't go into uncap for more than a few seconds and even then its blurry.

To me, it's them abusing a glitch in the game. They are taking advantage because they are cowards and not goo enough to venture into the real dangerous war-zone.

Would it ever be possible to put a rule in stating hiding in uncap is not allowed? Or even something as simple as " if you can't be knifed, you are breaking the rules?"

Thoughts?

Too many are making it difficult for players who play fair.

If they are attacking from their uncap it is fair game to kill them. From my experience if someone was sniping from their uncap I would snipe back and make sure I get them in the head. Let them spawn there again, rinse and repeat. Helps out improving your aim anyway

What you propose is difficult to admin. Enforcing something like that would take away a lot of time checking on players.

Fly a MAV back their and blow up their spawn beacon, use a UCAV to blow the fucker up.

Another option....stay moving....at minimum on smallest maps they are 200m+ away....if you stay moving(sporatically), you give htem tougher shots. MAVs always work, but they ARENT capping flags. If they can see you, YOU can see them. LIke fast said, good chance to "anti snipe" them...hit em in the head enough times, they relocate(the less stupid ones that is) and look for easier targets!

Teabaggin, I remember you as a beast. Whip out that mav, or fly the SUAV/UCAV under the C-RAM and moosh those fuckers. Otherwise, call out the basesnipers in TEAMchat(if you dont wanna snipe them)..plenty of people like to hang out in bases on either faction!

I always try to send a C4 jeep at the enemy AA if he's hiding in their uncap shooting down all our stuff. Love seeing them rage chat then when I stop their killing streak.

Sniping is a whole game-within-a-game anyway. When I was unlocking the FY-JS, I got a new appreciation for snipers. There seems to be about 2-3 snipers per team, who are eternally against each other and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's usually easy mode assault players that complain about snipers. I never thought sneaking around, and only getting 5 kills in 30 minutes could be so fun. And don't forget, that guy who spotted the enemy around the corner from you that you had no idea was there, was probably one of those 'pvssy @ss snipers' you guys love to hate..helping you out (and for 25 points lol)

UCAV is an amazing anti-sniper weapon. Rooftops and spawn snipers stand no chance most of the time. There is a solution to the problem. UCAV and occasionally mortar fire.

this mean to shot at someone who is shooting out of the main and NOT just anyone in the main. some are waiting to tank or something or just spawned in and may not be shooting out.

At the end of the day a from-base sniper will not change teh tide of the game, unless you let him distract the entire team.

Yeah, pretty much "oh, they have a sniper in their base" annnnnd that's about how effective they are. No one in the history of ever has said "Man, we totally won that round from our snipers in our base."
