Deus Ex is one of the very best genre-blending games of all time, which combined the immersion of a first-person shooter with the depth of a role-playing game.
The sequel, while not as hardcore as the original, still held elements that made the first one great. It was a distillation of first of the series, and it's still worth playing if you want to be fully prepared before the third game launches later this year.
Steam is having a sale that'll be on until the end of Thursday, April 22, where Dues Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War are $2.50 each. For just a fiver, you can get some excellent, solid PC gaming ready for the weekend – even if it's a trip down memory lane.
