PHOENIX ? A suspect who ran away from a traffic stop on Wednesday chose the wrong place to hide when he slipped under a parked moving truck ? and then was run over and killed (see Darwin Award) when the driver pulled away.
CAPE CORAL, Fla. Fox News? Jan 16, 2009. Authorities are looking for a shoplifter who was run over twice by her getaway car after stealing $1,200 worth of designer purses from a Cape Coral store.
A T.J. Maxx security guard told police she saw a woman stuff six designer Dooney & Bourke purses into her pants Tuesday morning and walk out of the store. The guard says she was confronting the woman when a car pulled up.
A report says the shoplifter tried to get into the vehicle but fell out and was run over by the car. She then got up and jumped onto the hood of the car. As the car was driving away, the report says the woman fell off and was run over again. On her third attempt, she finally made it into the vehicle.
Police are using the car's license plate and a check the woman dropped to track her down.

Peru's top court has ruled that workers cannot be fired for being drunk on the job, a decision that was criticized by the government on Wednesday for setting a dangerous precedent.
The Constitutional Tribunal ordered that Pablo Cayo be given his job back as a janitor for the municipality of Chorrillos, which fired him for being intoxicated at work.
The firing was excessive because even though Cayo was drunk, he did not offend or hurt anybody, Fernando Calle, one of the justices, said on Wednesday

Cops arrested the Lehigh Acres woman, saying she was teaching one of her kids to shoplift baby clothes at a Wal-Mart, reports newspress.com.
A security guard told cops he'd seen Bradley showing one of the four children with her how to put baby clothes underneath the other three children in the shopping cart.
That way they wouldn?t be visible to the cashiers.
Bradley and her children walked out of the store without paying for the clothes.
When the security guard confronted her, she fled the scene, leaving the children behind.
Super mom, huh?

After he crashed his car into a fence in the wee hours of the morning, he climbed out of his car and told cops he was drunk and didn't have a license,
?I?m wrecked, dude,? he told the cop.
He could have stopped there, but, heck, he already was in deep.
Next he kicked the officer in the groin and leg, cursing at him and punching him.
Then, for good measure, he acted like a dog, growling and trying to bite him.
Can anyone say felony idictments, one of them being a class 3 assault on a uniformed police officer? This is one of those where I hope the mouthbreather gets passed around as everyone's bitch just for being so stupid. :fisting 069
