To all of my fellow Americans, I have a sad truth for all of us to face, the War on Terror has been brought into our homes, living among us and our children right under our noses. Today as I sat blissfully in the summer heat under the shade of a pine tree with a gentle breeze blowing, I opened my recently purchased Dr. Pepper. You think and as I did there would be no harm not even a veiled threat, thats what I thought at least. After a good refreshing gulp I looked down to commend the good Dr. Pepper spirit and to my surprise my life was in danger the entire time. For the Bottle reads in clear 12pt font: Warning contents under pressure. Cap may blow off, causing eye or other serious injury. Point away from face and people, especially while opening. My life has been shattered right underneath me. I mean Jesus! My eye ripped from me or "other serious injury"? The terrorists have now invaded our refreshing beverages and there is no hint where they will strike next? It could be in our bowling alleys or skating rinks! If only we could turn back time and save this great country from the perils it now faces.
I ask you this...if were not safe under the shade of a tree drinking a refreshing carbonated beverage then when and where are we?
