Well apparently my account from freaking February is an under 18 account, how that is even possible I do not know. They can not do anything about it and I was told to create another account for my purchases. I did and grabbed the specact kit which I cant use on my soldier and had to get a refund for.

So I am basically fucked if I ever want to use this ea account with anything in the future. Glad i wasted my vietnam serial on this fucking bullshit too now im stuck.
 
Try using CCleaner. Clear your cache and see if that helps :).

WUT.... lol

My account with EA is not an 18+ account and they will not fix it. I already made a purchase and got refunded for it on another account. Until they fix my account it doesnt matter. Oh and yes btw I cleared everything to make the new account because log out was fckn broken.

At this point im not sure I should bother buying another battlefield game if I cant use my Master account with it why would I want to rock another name? Im not clear yet on wether my battlefield persona is locked but my EA Master ID of RainMotorsports is PERMENANT.

All some dumbass doesnt even work for EA tech support manager needs to do is fix what they fucked up in the first place.
 
Or needs to implement a solution to convert <18 accounts to 18+ accounts.
 
Well i got my specact key from Steam, it required me to buy the main game again. Not sure if its usable outside of steam but on the EA side I have a serial thats not registered to an EA account if thats acceptable to give to someone lol :)

I also picked up BF2 while I was blowing cash.

I am not completely sure what your referring to when you say "if its usable outside of steam" but if understand you correctly and I am not mistaken when you purchased the game through Steam you will have to have your Steam Client running to play it.

As for the serial number you should be able to give that to anyone you want if you purchased the game using the EA Downloader. All the person would have to do is download said game and then register it to their account using the serial number you gave them.

I do feel your pain I have more than my fair share of problems with EA and at best they are a bunch of incompetent pricks to deal with.

When you get BF2 installed and want to play give me a shout, I would be more than happy to show you the ropes. if you haven't played before
 
I played for a few minutes earlier.... it reminds me of being on a playstation 1 lol. But yeah id love to play with someone some time. I was going to get it for 9.99 somewhere but ended up grabbing it off steam for twice that to check something that wasnt worth checking. So yeah playing with someone else would make it more worth having, ive been throwing money in the trash the last month or so so it doesnt matter lol.

Quite a few players had to change their name slightly for new releases. Ask fast or choter-who went with xChoter for bc2 . for example. It doesn't have to be anything dramatic just unique and you can still keep your character name.

Sorry had to give that a go. Anyways I will just buy my Battlefield games through steam so if any games share account/soldier names I wont have an issue as my real issue was the ability to purchase add-ons.

Meh until battlefield uses the system of "You killed (whoever)" I am not changing my name lol.

WHEN THEY DO HOWEVER.

"You killed AFifthOfVodka"
"AFifthOfVodka killed you"

Thats my new name lol.
 
Surprisingly after having two people tell me they couldnt do shit about it. My third attempt an email after a couple of days has solved the issue. Looks like i may have been at fault for the date as it was 1 day and 10 years off lol.

But anyways yeah I can now buy crap and keep it linked to my EA Master ID which was the whole point behind their id system.... lol.

Figures theyd have a sale after all this bs was fixed.....
