The good ol days

Ah yes...those were the days. Surprised he did not show the pencil eraser contact cleaning kit......lol
 
He was right on point with raging in Contra and Mario. Oh and having the spread gun and dying 3 seconds later.
 
I used to love Mega Man. I tried playing a rom of it recently. i died much more often than I remember. I got frustrated enough that I quit after 5 minutes.

Oh how we've been spoiled.

There was no hand-holding back then. It was more like getting kicked off a cliff without knowing how to fly or swim, and Nintendo expecting you to learn on the way down.
 
I used to take the trash out for the guy who opened the bowling alley by my house when I was a kid and he would give me the key to games in the arcade for 2 hours me and a friend could play any game we wanted, bubble bobble ghosts n goblins double dragon. Then he got fired. Anyone remember the fighting game where you would knock the armor of the other guy and then you could kill them.
