Tinnitus is the medical term for "hearing" noises in your ears when there is no outside source of the sounds.
The noises you hear can be soft or loud. They may sound like ringing, blowing, roaring, buzzing, hissing, humming, whistling, or sizzling. You may even think you are hearing air escaping, water running, the inside of a seashell, or musical notes.

any one surfer from this? i thought i did for the the past few months. i could hear this beeping pattern every night. until today i discovered that it wasn't me it was a battery charger lol.. but i do suffer from auditory hallucinations(not like evil kill stuff lol) or my house is haunted lol. but when ever i try to sleep (sober) i hear weird ass shit the whole night that just trips me out.. one time i herd some one say "hello" and also could hear some one shuffling down the hard wood floors, i looked and saw no one, just random things i hear at night that make me go wtf? any one else like that?

Your Auditory hallucinations could just be you at that state of almost asleep... Kinda like the way you wake up while "falling" in a dream. It happens.. If its happening that often to you it could be your more susceptible to your dream state than most people. I've had it happen but I can count the number of times on one hand.
