I'm trying to change my name in TS. I have tried everything to get this simple task done. I have deleted all names except the desired name.
1. I have used the setup wizard
2. I have used the "identities" to try to select/input the desired name.
3. I have tried all these options connected and disconnected from TS
4. I have lost my status shield in TS the one they assign to you when you become a member.
Any help/ideas would be welcomed.
 
Status is tied to identity, your username is probably in the bookmark if you are using a bookmark.
 
AHH AHH I hate to say this. It's back... After Irishian88J reset my TS settings. Things stayed that way for about a day. Next time I signed in my name was back to "TBGr USMC1968" Should I delete this account and resign up for TS. Any advise at this point is welcomed.

if ur using a book mark you should be able to change ur name right there right click and edit change name. or are you talking about the badge after it?
 
The name only the badge is still there. Although, I did loose the badge as well last night but Irish fixed all that last night. Although, the old name is back. I have right clicked on change name on many occasions but it never stays.
 
I have tried changing name on and offline. Do you think this issue is tied to my bookmarking TBG's TS location?

If you are using a bookmark in teamspeak the username is stored there so even if its changed in other locations or temporarily while connected it will change back to the bookmarks name. Just edit the bookmark.
 
I found how I was suppose to do it. Your right the bookmark was the key. Thank you all for the help
