@BOB Our motor is a Vortec 350 bored over to 355. Inside the block is stock( except the oil pump) Everything external is Aluminium. We plan on running a vega transmission with a Camaro-richmond gear 4.10 (pos-track) rearend.
@Sid, I think I'll have crazy covered, I am running Figure 8.
And coincidentally the body we are running is a 88 regal also. Well it's the Grand national body style with the scoop built into the hood.
Our chassis is a late 80's capris.
The guy in the picture is my Dad, he is pretty much investing in the car. He used to race until Health reason he had to stop. When I mentioned that I wanted to build a car, his eyes lit up. LOL

Nooooo. That's too nice of a build for the crazy 8. Now I see why the front is build like a tank. Clay is cool but the serious run on asphalt and only make left's

It's mild to some of the cars I've seen. It used to be an Oval CRA/Arca car. But, I'm only going to run about 8-10 Figure 8 races. The rest I'll be out on a Roadcrouse some where. I love doing road courses but this time around I wanted something more then a Stock 97 Jetta.
I bought the frame about 2 months ago and was going to slowly put parts in due to budget. But every couple of days my Dad buys a new part before I can. LOL
I'll post some more pics in a like a week or two when more parts get put on.
