USB Controller Help in GTAV.

Hey guys what's happening ? I Tried to hook up a xbox 360 controller ,with the usb charging plug.
Downloaded the controller driver from microsoft for windows 7 64 bit.
It is being recognized by my computer , but it won't work in game for the life of me.
Can anyone give me a little insight ? Can there be settings in Steam I need to setup , or something else?

Are you using a wired controller, or are you using a play and charge cord?

The play and charge will not work. In order to use a wireless 360 controller you need the adapter. http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Gami...3&sr=8-2&keywords=360+wireless+adapter+for+pc

Yep that's what I was trying to use the old charging chord. Just ordered the wireless adapter. Thanks Bungie!
