WWI squad shooter, set in the trenches. It's early access, so there are a few jerky animations and so on, but the gameplay is all there. Winners, losers, unlocks and so on.

You take turns attacking and defending. If your attacks succeed, you push the enemy back to their second, third or fourth line. You win if you've gained ground at the end of the match. There's also a FFA deathmatch mode. Graphically it looks beautiful, firing at fuzzy shapes in the mist with explosions going off all over the place. They use an extreme depth of field so the maps feel a lot bigger than they are. It's designed to be played in integrated squids of 4, with each one taking a different role (sniper, spotter, NCO, scout, grenadier, rifleman). Advancing together, covering each other and calling targets over TS works a hell of a lot better than trying to persuade three random folks to watch your arse.

Anyway, it was on sale today and I picked up a 4-pack. So I've got three copies to hand out. PM me your steam info if you fancy it.

Waiting to get Steam names from Snakebabies and Iguanidon

I played a Half-Life beta, WWI shooter years ago Rails. Could this be the same one? Was pretty good back in the day. As a fan of Day of Defeat Source, Red Orchestra, and Call of Duty WWII, this looks great.

Nice. Did you play Red Orchestra II? It was so disappointing, cause it didn't come close to the original one. Was plagued with glitches, crashes, and bugs. The one game I actually felt bad for the developers, cause it wasn't like they were high paid studio programmers.

The first Red Orchestra was an awesome "iron site shooter" and the bolt-action rifles were amazing in it.
