I just got off the phone with Server Beach, and here's the scoop:
Looks like someone fucked up a wire or two on the fiber possibly. A simple outage wouldn't have caused this as it would be fixed within milliseconds.
Unfortunately, I have no idea when it will be fixed. I think it's affecting all the Virginia data centers..
I will keep you all posted.
