VOIP in bf2

Ok so many regulars noticed VOIP not working in bf2. Since beginning we did not have VOIP working due to incompatibility issues with our latest OS. We have installed an external VOIP on a system that is compatible. Therefore VOIP finally works.

Nice work! VoIP has always been a problem in BF2 and is the cause of the squad bug.

However, now that the pubbers have VOIP - they are asking for battle-recorder.....lol.

SG: I always thought that the reason for the squad bug is when two players try to make a squad at the same time.

I thought it was when a player created a squad too soon.

That may be true as the trigger event, but without VoIP the squad bug is not present.

Karkand is having the squad bug again :-( Did the VoIP setup change with the new server?

2142 works couple people did their test and works. So check your own end.

Hey x=FAST=x is the new Karkand server currently using internal VoIP?

If not and possible, could you setup an external VoIP again on Karkand?

It seems like the new server is struggling when full with 64 players. It has also been plagued with the squad bug as of late. Maybe this change could help resolve both issues.
