Will you guys open one?

I love the 64 player Rush server but my ping is 107 to 120 ms.

I will donate.
 
Our BF boxes are set in chicago. All our servers run on these. It costs 90 dollars a month if we get a pay per slot server.

It could probably be that your routing is bad. You should see 60-80 if you are in L.A.

Maybe ask your ISP to change it for you if possible?
 
When I call up Time Warner, what do I say specifically? I"m not sure what that means by changing the routing. I would love to try it but I don't know the language.
 
Most people at Tier 1 for timewarner won't do it because they don't want to invest the time. Ask to speak with Tier 2, and say, I need you to adjust my routing to this IP. Give them the IP, and keep complaining until they do.
 
Also if possible try not to use their crappy rental modem. Buying a Surfboard 6121 pays for itself in 6 months of rental cost and will greatly improve everything about your internet life.

I don't have a business, so I don't have a static IP address. Time Warner said they only give out static IP addresses for business accounts, so they weren't able to improve the routing from my home to your server.

I wish there was a west coast 48/64 player Rush server somewhere. I found one that SoC does, but it has Obliteration mode that it alternates with, and I hate that mode.
 
hmm maybe i should see about doing this with my connection... though i don't know if it would improve any. i connect to our servers at an average of 75 ping
