What a disappointment

I'm thinking homefront was a huge waste of money, the vehicles suck and I am too used to having a destructible environment now that when a game like this doesn't have it it just feels wrong. In my opinion frontlines fuel of war was way better.

anyone else feel this way?
 
I hate to say it, but I told you so when asked in the thread about this earlier. How this title has managed to sell 1million copies is beyond me.

Great story poor game and to pay the price is sad :(
 
there is one main prob and that is u have to be a sniper otherewise u die very easy
 
i find it ok. Patch should be fixing some things and add better squad functionality. It definitely replaces my call of booty. Choppers and vehicles are better once you unlock their perks.
 
The problem with Homefront is that it's infested with cheaters. To make things worse, they don't have an RCON protocol implemented that is capable of being used by admin tools to make things easier on server admins. VAC/PB is not effective without good admins. A shitty protocol means you can't admin your servers.

As I was telling you before VAC sucks. Delay bans = garbage among other things. Anyone knowledgeable knows this. Yea its cool when it bans your steam account but really who gives a fuck, detection is poor, delayed bans is a shitty way of cleaning up the house. Oh we will let you cheat for a month before we ban. Enjoy....NOT

Evenbalance is garbage too and refuse to upgrade their shit but with extra robust layer like PSB GGC Pbbans. I'd go with them over VAC any day of the week!

I've spoken with developers (You know who I'm talking about) who use VAC in their game. They say it's better then PB. You can talk to them to if you want. Don't take my word for it, do your own research by asking developers.

In fact, I will ask the person to clarify.

I will ask him why the VAC in MW2 is shit, Black Ops, etc. I will ask about detection rates.


Just to be clear, VAC does do delayed bans, but I'm not sure if the banning that takes place depends on the game or not. Again, I will get more information on this tonight.
 
I just PM'ed one of the guys I was speaking with. I'll hear back from him shortly.
 
delayed bans is VAC's trademark. Same thing happens in CS

They need better detection and real time kicks/bans. They never had this (since they existed) and doubt it will change.
 
I know it's their trademark; delayed bans. You say that the bans get delayed for a month usually; I'm not sure if they still do that. I could be wrong.

I'm getting clarification on both concerns so we can put this topic to rest until it comes up again.

Multiple people with credibility and experience. Don't assume.
