it IS free on steam. purchases are extras. You dont even need to buy weapons. they are nice to have but you find them randomly, maybe one every 15 minutes or longer... maybe every 15-45 minteus youll find something.

You can also trade for new weapons however we typically don't like trading in our servers. There are servers you can do trading, usually called trade servers
