I'm a tad stumped at this, figured someone would know better than I would exactly what this is... my guess is a mounted FleshLight, RPG or pepper grinder.

Haha, I used to rock one of these:

It's an AN/PVS-4. I used to have it in basically the same configuration, mounted on a M16A2. Between the two the weapon weighed close to 18 pounds.
