A buddy of mine, Steve Martin, who served along side me in Afghanistan had is legs blown off in September of 2008 by an IED which hit his Hmmwv. Today he, along with 4 other wounded warriors will be climbing Denali(Mt McKinley) in Alaska with only 4 good legs between them. Follow along with their climb if you can and wish them good luck!

That's awesome man
you should tell your buddy about Soldier Ride Soldier Ride - Wounded Warrior Project
My brother helped found it and helps run a lot of their events. I've done a few of the rides with them and its really an incredible experience. Been to the White House 3 times to kick off the annual ride from the white house to the lighthouse in Annapolis as well...got to shake Obama's hand which was pretty sweet haha.
