Thanks for the help offered. I feel like an idiot as it was the sound recording setting was set to the wrong device in the sounds and audio section of my control panel. The test voice function was always working fine as it is sound recording setting in the audio part not the voice.

more info My usb mic works when i run it through testing and configuration within the control panel. It only appears to non functional within the game. `I try the microphone test function in the audio setup and i get nothing.

I have a problem with my microphone in 2142. It works when i test the hardware in my control panel but does not function within 2142. It was working a few weeks ago. Anybody have any suggestions on what to try?

I cannot actually join a game on all TBG servers. As soon as i click on the join button after the map has loaded punkbuster kicks me out with no explanation.

I started playing 2142 for the first time in a mo0nth and found i was unable to join a TBG server. I played for several hours on other servers with no problems. Punkbuster is up to date on my computer as well. Have i been banned and not know it? Gamer id: frostyfire

I am also getting this problem. I was on Wednesday night and punkbuster dumps me out without an explanation. It appears to be only when i log into TBG servers. I have tried re=installing 2142 and checking for PBB updates as well online name is frostyfire
