!! NEW RUSH SERVER !!

We are happy to introduce a much requested new server! [TBG] RUSH NO UCAV/MORTAR/MAVS | DISCORD.TBGCLAN.COM is now up and running!

The following weapons are restricted, with more possibly being added:
UCAV
M224 Mortar
MAV
M320 HE, LVG, 3GL, FB, Smoke
M26 Frag
XM25 Airburst
M18 Claymore
Poison Bow
12g Frag rounds
SUAV

At this time, engineer launchers are allowed as vehicles are still enabled but that could be subject to change, with the the possibility of both being removed.

We are also offering a month of free VIP for players who successfully help populate the server 2+ days per month! Please feel free to DM me here or on Discord if you have helped populate.

As always, any feedback is welcome.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Vehicles, engineer launchers and c4 have been re-enabled for now. As this server is still brand new, changes will continue to be made until the most popular settings are figured out and we establish enough traffic.

Thanks to those that have helped populate and provided feedback so far!

there was maybe 5 or 6 active people and the rest were the seeder bots. I was able to rejoin when I was able to get back to the computer and the server was still struggling to pop.
I did see some more familiar Rush Faces.
 
Ironically, I come back exactly 1 yr from the last post to check the status on this server as I cannot find it on my server browser after my most recent sabbatical
 
Sadly we had our regular rush (ran for 10 years) a little while longer after bf6 launch, never really sustained. It’s costly to keep it running and no traffic and financial support for it.

Rush no explosive was experiment for 3 months and never picked up consistently.

Oh, so BF6 essentially killed it? Disappointing! Considering I can only find 1 rush server in the world that is still running. I understand that the players have spoken. I wish I came back a bit sooner before it was shut down permanently to try and keep it going a bit longer. Many 100s of hours were spent there and have many good memories. Thanks for providing them for as long as you did.

The new Rush server was always going to fail with those rules. All of those things add variety to the gameplay as intended by the devs, for better or worse. The great thing about BF4 is that you have the freedom to do anything you want. There's a counter for just about everything in the game, so it can seem like people might be too stubborn to change their strategy mid-game and instead just ban anything that would present a challenge. Also, by trying to cater to everyone, you alienate the diehard Rush fans that keep coming back (love them or hate them). Of course, this is just my opinion! I'd love to see a return of a Rush server, in any format. Keep us posted if a new opportunity ever presents itself.
 
yes restricting the explosives or any kind of weapon restriction was never a success in the game and there was a reason why you could barely find an active one even when the game had a good large crowd at launch. However, it was nice to give it a shot and experiment as a second server when it was up.
