it's getting pretty bad in there with constant combat commanders...even some flying gunships.....any squad leader that happens to lead a squad doesnt seem to give orders...or maybe it's a total lack of knowledge about this game or even a total lack of being able to read and understand simple english.
Lots of overseas players in there simply because of the lack of any other servers for them to play the game on now.I see them all the time and mostly of course because of the time dfference,in the early AM...7 AM MST or thereabouts.I welcome them as much if nothing better than to have some new blood/meat to shoot at and a different philosophy of another culture to understand.LOts of campers hiding behind every rock nook and cranny--these guys arent very mobile when it comes to acquiring more real estate.

some even totally ignore the mines and the titan shield rule..........SO.......something must be done to keep these guys all in check.Either give guys who arent TBG members junior admin rights....of course that wont happen.....or INCREASE the SIZE of the BRIGHT GREEN FONT scroll to...i dunno....150....cant miss the rules then....cant play the game either...to big to see anything...lol

this morning alone I counted 4 combat commanders which i wont report but i warned in game. Last 2 I felt like such a rat for doing it but they were warned over 3 times....maybe more.I'm not a rat--i'm a snake....
 
Hey Snake good to see you again. Unfortunately many would not be able read or understand English. I hear you and understand your frustration though. You could always apply for membership and then you could help us out when ever needed.
 
I feel you. Since the move of the server. All titans has become the wild west. I have done so much kicking and baning. I don't play much when I'm in there. It's a whole new ball game with the euro players and not in a good way. Give it some time and we will smooth thing's out. Like Bob said you could apply and help me weed them out.

Go apply for membership here, Snake. And then hang around and get to know these guys and the community here. You sound pretty level so far and you'd probably make a great admin for ALL of the TBG servers.

Also, I play a lot of 2142 with these guys and I'm on the TBG Ventrilo server most of the time. You should stop in and play with us some time. Guaranteed to be lot's of fun!

EDIT: Damn, three replies since I started typing... There was only one a second ago. Don't you guys have a life ???
 
When you started the original server were there a lot of rule breakers?

I'm sure the majority will realize that the TBG members play often and don't tolerate rule breaking. I bet things will settle down.

When I'm a squad leader, I swiftly, and with great prejudice, kick the members that don't follow orders. Pretty soon you've got a group of players that listen; and then the game turns around.

2142 conjured a special breed of idiocy that is frustrating to no avail.

the amount of rule breaking is directly proportional the the amount of admins in the server and even then sometimes people continue to break the rules, and then they complain when you have to suffer the consequences
 
Solutions are what we need. Lets move forward and not just tread water. If you see a rule breaker then take a screen shot and it will be addressed. If you see people breaking the rules and you have access to the site/forums then failure to report makes you as guilty as them. Dont feel like a rat.... You are a regular there and we need you to work with the admins to let them know so we dont have to be in the server 24/7. As a valuable player and regular in our servers you know we cannot be in there 24/7 at which time its up too you to assist us when we are not available. Also if you get a screen shot we can address the issue later and watch for those specific players that have been habitual rule breakers.
