AMD to Throttle Back Support for Pre-HD 5000 Series Graphics Cards

Shit no suprises there lol. Question is what is Nvidia planning for Pre 600 series since at the moment there is a rift. Mainly artificial they are blocking new features like adaptive vsync which are driver features and not card features from older cards. At this point 295 series drivers support 8000,9000, 200, 400 and 500 series along with the 100 and 300 series not worth mentioning.
 
Damnit how am I going to keep playing BF3 on my HD 2900XT???!???!
 
Nah I've been running the HD5850. The HD3850 is actually in my main atm--thinking of yanking out it though.
 
I much prefer my good friend Dave's Octozilla build. Dual Xeon E5-2687W's--destroying multi-thread CPU records left, right, & center. Earned 120 pts for XS on HWBot last I checked.
