anybody use a soundbar?

just what it says im wondering if a soundbar is worth it. ive got surround on the PC cause its where i watch movies on Kodi but i play with a headset. was thinkin of getting a sound bar to put in the bedroom as thats the only place i really watch tv/netflix/movies on netflix. so are they worth it and what would you recommend
 
They are better than stock tv speakers but not going to sound as good as an actual entertainment sound system. I say if you find a decent brand for a good price buy it.

a sound bar will do you justice. Dont expect any "over the top" sound unless you gunna drop a couple g's. But for laying in the bed before/during/after sleep, can't go wrong.
 
I had a Phillips sound bar that I used, came with a small sub woofer and a remote. Worked really well for a couple years before it finally started to peter out. But I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with a Philips, LG, Sony, Vizio.
 
you get what you pay for. spend 99.99 on a bar, expect to have issues 12-18months(if you are lucky) of use. Focus on your favorite brand within your budget.
 
yeah i like LG thats what my main sound system is ive been to some friends house that had a sound bar and could really tell a difference but hell it may have not have even been on

LG was always the best sound bar we sell. $300 system out performed 600+ samsungs. When I get home ill give you some models. Whats your price range?
 
i usually buy myself something nice depending on what i get back with taxes so im thinkin soundbar this year wont really know range untill i get those filled out but id like to stay preferably 200 or under but gimmie what ya got ill go from there

go with the LG LAS551H. It's a little more but worth it. If its too much then go with LAS454B
