Just curious to if anyone has the LGA 2011 series yet? I'm wondering too how much that 3690x can put out, cause im thinking about a new rig for myself, or has anyone heard how good they are?

I know that Intel next wave of Ivy Bridge is going to be on 2011 sockets. SO it is a good purchase for the long run.

I think the current 2011 series is seriously lacking and won't be purchasing anything new until they start adding some meaningful changes. Right now, there's no point in upgrading for me.

I ask for an i7-3930K & X79 motherboard for Christmas. But then again, I put down (as an alternative) an i5-2500K or i7-2600K & P67, too. Somehow, I think I'll receive a $350 or $450 setup before a $900 setup.

The 2500K is a great CPU! I love it, but the 2600K is a better one, but I love the 2500K, really nice BIOS

Why do you think there lacking it though six? What is lacking them in your best of opinion, I see nothing but positives things but I havent really went in depth yet and didnt know if anything stood out right away.
