2142 was the Bastard child. It was DICE's greatest video game and EA fucking hated it and the idea of it and they killed it as soon as they could. EA will never approve of 2143 or any sequel to this, sadly.

squad, or future mods for squad are where it is at. Even if DICE/EA decide to run a BF:21XX, it will be just as shitty, and have just as many issues as BF4. Need these indie guys to run a game like 2142. As DICE when they started 1942...
