I had downloaded this game demo last night even though i hadn't played the first one, erm, here's my fist impression...

...shite.

The game was so complicated i couldn't even get out of the chopper for a while. Still don't know how i got out. Lol. The screen is filled up with all these bits n bobs, goodness knows what they all do, i don't care. Anyway, i managed to get out the chopper, now what? No enemies, so i went for a stroll around this town and guess what, no enemies. Then came the message of "You lost". I tried again but the same thing happened. WTH is all that about, i mean, i never got to shoot anyone or see the enemy. Tell me this isn't the future of gaming.

Think i'll play Pong.

Tigerchips, it's a simulator. Many people do not like it because of the extreme learning curve.

If you want a realism game coming out soon, go to GameTrailers and look for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad.

A few of us bought it when it first came out. The idea of driving 20 minutes to find the enemy then getting shot once and having to do it all over again quickly lost its appeal.

Ditto what Solider said and I also want to add that hosting a server for this game is a pain in the ass not to mention it's also a memory resource hog.

I would not consider.the learning curve to be extreme. Complex.? Absolutely. It actually doesn't take that long to learn how develop a good sense of how use all of the games features. That game is a very involved tactical shooter that has a great deal of moddibility and immersion how ever it simulates full length conflicts and large scale worlds that extend to an mmorpg scale imo. If you like to fly its an awesome game to get into as the aircraft are the closest I have seen to realistic outside of, Microsoft Fs and are still fun and relatively easy to fly. But if that's not your strong suit stick with the bf series for fun gameplay
