I installed these drivers and they messed up Bad Company 2 really bad. I went back to 260.89 and the game ran fine.

260.99 gave me horrible juttering artifacts and bad coloring on the screen.

Don't know if anyone has thought about upgrading just watch out.

Help for Resizing Your HDTV Desktop
After resizing the HDTV desktop, the new custom resolution created is now added to the
list of available resolutions for that display, and also added to the resolution list within
the game or application.
In Release 190 and later drivers, the method for resizing the HDTV desktop has changed
to provide better image quality when applying underscan. This method results in a new
custom resolution being created which needs to be selected from games or applications to
apply the resizing.
In the example displayed in the following screen shot, the underscan has created a new
resolution (1216x682). Although this resolution looks different, it is still in HD format.
Remember to select this resolution in your game or other application in order to take
advantage of it.

I don't know the color seems off. Might be over-thinking but could one of my cards have gone bad? How would you know besides the obvious like blue screen or game crashing. I have been noticing my video drivers crashing a lot. Mabey that means something? What do you think?

What do you mean your video drivers are crashing? Drivers are small programs designed to let hardware and software communicate with each other. Drivers are for the most part hidden and are not a program like a user application.

Are you seeing any errors in event viewer? You can use the reliability monitoring program in Vista and Win 7 to view when you started getting errors. To use it type perfmon.msc in the start/run box. Go to reliability monitor under the monitoring tools folder and then you should be able to see a historical view of everything that has happened to your system from the date the computer was built. You can also pinpoint when you started having problems this way. Just click on the day of the error to see what it is. There will be valuable information in there for any computer having problems.

Now with all that out of the way, the specific problem of 260.99 and BFBC2 maybe just that, a problem with the game and the drivers together. I am doubting that at this time, but wont totally discount it do to Dice being involved. More than likely it is a configuration problem with the game and the drivers that is why I highlighted that section of the driver update spec sheet above. There have been many resolution problems with games over the years.

I'm in there now but I don't see reliability monitor under monitoring tool. All I see is performance monitor, is that the same thing?

It should look like this in Win7 and Vista. If you don't have it there, then it has been disabled which is a shame. It provides valuable data sets over the course of time.

There are a lot of errors on this system. All the red circles are critical errors that could or would cause any number of problems. Yellow ones are warnings and the white ones are information.

Yea must be disabled. That sucks, I wonder how the heck that happened, better news I re installed 260.89 and did a restart. Seems to be running the way it used too and the colors seem normal again.

Do a Google search on turning reliability monitor on. In the future you'll be able to pinpoint when a problem happened and what was the cause.

Edit:
Right click the monitoring tools folder and select view system reliability.

Ok got it working! In one day I had 4 video driver crashes that was on 10/11/2010, then on 10/16 I had 2 more, and then one on the 19th and one on the 20th of October.

What were the reasons given? Was their a solution available? Are you overclocking or is your card factory overclocked?
