Battlefield 4 and tick rates ...

One important issue that 99% of the players dont realize and this guy mentions it..... the players who run into 50, 60 HZ issues it's because their computer can't handle plain and simple. So servers is not the only issue. If you have 3 servers per high end quad core box like e31270V1 to V3-5 and the players are still lagging, then it's the players PC not capable of running at a higher tick. We were hosting 4-5 servers on a box but I guarantee if we magically able to trim it down, players would still bitch about the server when in the end, it's their PC
 
When the tick rate goes up it labors the server, so the upper ping limit and/or number of players must be adjusted.
 
im unable to play on our servers anymore I can only play on 30hz servers im not sure why I have tried both my 7970 and a 670 gtx. my gear is well equipped to play the high frequencies but I just rubber band like all fuck and it sucks. cards ive tried has been stated with a 8350 amd only running 8 gigs ram as im stll trying to weed out the restart issue. but either way cant play our servers no fun

There is nothing wrong with my puter.

I found some high tick servers. Try them out. The trend seem to be as the tick rate goes up the number of players goes down.

The problem is the servers aren't optimized yet for the really high tick rates. That's why you don't see 64 player servers at 60 or above very often.

To clear up the misunderstanding, When you played in our servers it was going above 50. So at that point it would be server side. If it was below 50% on our boxes overall and you were experiencing lag then it would be your PC. The optimizing part is the fact that it uses too much CPU. That's why we don't have it at 50 or 60.

I had 0 issues when the servers overall were using less than 50 for a brief moment. When it went above 50 I was rubberbanding as well.
 
Just in case anyone is interested, I went to Intel and looked up my network adapter and found a new driver version. Windows 7 update and Asus Suite 3 did not show/report this Intel driver.
I installed it a few days ago and it does help a little. Everything on my computer is up to date as far as I can tell. My CPU automatically runs at 4.4, give or take a tiny bit.

So DICE get with the program!

200 fps. 25% cpu used. 6gb used out of 32. Game ran off of dual Samsung 840 raid. It is noticeable at 60 hz when flying jets or choppers. It stutters just a bit. It doesn't cripple my gameplay but I do notice it.

.this is running 3 1440p monitors in eyefinity, ultra settings with 180% resolution scale. This is @ 60 hz or higher.
