Title made it pretty clear, i want links & descriptions for the best gaming laptops under 1000 bucks that ship to Norway. Clear intent of buying.

1000 bucks is doable for gaming. But it wont be great. 750 is borderline and 1500 is the sweet spot.

Give me a minute to look but. Decent selection of choices at xoticpc.com. Remember sagers dont come with an OS.

460/560M would be desirable the 560M is basically a downclocked 550 Ti. But at this price it leaves us with maybe the cruddy choice of the 540M.

Will have to see if xotic ships overseas.

FORCE 16F2-004 / MSI 16F2 - Has a 560M but only a dual core i5 - 880 bucks.

SAGER NP8130 - 560M once again slightly better i5, 3 hours battery life - 990 bucks.
Add 30 bucks to get an i7 quad

ASUS G53SW-XR1 - 460M i7-2630QM - 1000
ASUS G53SX-XR1 - 560M i7-2630QM - 1070

They have some units with 555M's might be able to upgrade to an i7 quad and be under a grand.

kkay, will check back in the morning, going to sleep for now

Not seeing the price under a grand to be honest 2Tartu. Rain all ready posted what I would have. I think you need to up the budget a tad and then you would have far more options.

mate, I'd wait a little bit for the new Razor Blade..

It looks absolutely amazing and easily out does all of that alienware shit. Check it out.. The LCD panel just sells it for me tbh

Razer Blade - The World's First True Gaming Laptop | Razer™ | For Gamers. By Gamers.™

You mean the 2800 dollar laptop with a 555M and a dual core i7? Can get a quad and a 560m for a third the money. He said a grand lol.

Unless their updating the specs and the thickness most alienwares when they actually work outclass it in performance. Not that id be buying either.

ohh hahah :/ ah well maybe save a little more?? :)
still the lcd panel is sweet as!

Oh yeah its a nice design. The hardware limitations are based on its portability. The thickness really limits the thermals. They went with an i7 dual instead of an i5 dual because of hyperthreading. Still has a lower thermal footprint than the i7-2630QM. The 555M seems to be the choice for thin and light gamers. Only 144 shaders and depending on what version gimped speed and memory bus.

Meh I would never allow someone to say that without proof. I am a laptop gamer I keep up on such things. But even if not 2800 USD versus 1000 well that is obvious. I will fall behind soon enough with this new desktop.

Went way over budget & found something special... :D

Dell XPS 15z Aluminium.
3,4Ghz Intel Quad Core i7-2620QM
nVidia GeForce GT 525M (2GB)
Full HD 1920 x 1080
8GB RAM
2,51 kg

Price: 1350€

Lol 525M versus 540m 555m or 560m equals failure to play jack except call of duty and counterstrike.

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhffffffffffffkkk, hmm, well, it's the best one out here.
