So what the title implies basically?

the problem with the new drivers for me, is that they cause screen tearing for my other games.

Get a 144hz display

would have to get a new gpu or two as well

1070 FTW would be a good choice

i was think something like the rx470 or gtx 960

if your short on cash just a GTX 1060 (3GB version or 6BG, Preferable 6BG), literately no reason to get AMD or an old Nvidia card. I speak from experience when i say that the 960 is literately the same chip as the 860, the only difference was it ONCE had a 5% over clock when it was sold. If for some reason a 1060 is still out of your price range buy a 1050TI or a 1050. There is 0 Reason to buy an old GPU these days unless you can get it super cheap/Its a cheap 980TI.
