As im sure everyone noticed beta is over - as much as we probably bitched about the bugs and the bull shit that happens for example when someone exploits the zombie bug - the game was fun - caspian border was fun I got to fly a jet although not really succesfully....I got to snipe people from long range while leading them about 3 inches off...what a feeling ... operation metro my favorite in that map is the metro and the ticket booth offense. Im sure there are going to be plenty of other maps to play - but man I had a blast even with my ultral low graphics ^_^.

Thanks soulzz for the chance to let me play the beta - I really do appreciate it.

We will own in this game - as long as we practice and play together - learn what classes mix well together in certain situations - I had some real fun and I cant wait till the 25th.
 
I liked the 2nd & 3rd set of mcoms on Metro; 3rd set is a knife fest
 
I agree, BF3 Alpha/and Beta were awesome. It is going to be a really fun time. For classes, I am going to specialize, (for the beginning) as an engineer. When we squad up, I would recommend everybody enable the (star) specializations/skills/w/e like more ammo, greater suppression, faster running so that the entire squad benefits instead of just the individual fighter.

Can't wait and only 15 days to go!!!

im gonna go sniper boyzzzzz. i just cant wiat for the full game. i think i got the longest shot, 385 meters, or yards i dunno. but it was awesome. in the first month-week ill grind caspian and metro again just for the lolz, and kd.

we are going to rape a lot of ppl, i got used to a lot of the guns in the game, but lets hope the it doesnt change much. something i didnt like was the fact that to be able to actually destroy a plane u have to get the unlocks for the missiles, and if u dont do it like from day one, if u try to fly without that, its not gonna be fun at all.

i loved the m98, the m40 rapes too, sv98 complete ownage. lil radio ftw !!!
 
I loved the engineer kit, and got every weapon except the last one. I started playing support last night and that was a blast too-it's nice in regular mode not having to reload every time you kill two people and yes, I dumped ammo everywhere I could. I had fun with the c4 also, ask balls-I kept throwing out c4 for a while :) I'd be up for sticking with that class for a while since I know we have a lot of dedicated engineers, snipers, or assault classes. Besides, we can send in EOD bot loaded with demo

There is a shocker, I don't think they have a marshmellow unlock.

I ranked up fast on metro going assault; revives & throwing out med-packs. Jets & Choppers totally suck; although TV missle in chopper might be fun.
 
i'll be mostly sniper, with about 2/3 assault. sad to see the beta go, but excited to see the main event. you guys will like the snipers who deploy spawn beacons near critical positions.
 
In previous versions of the game while flying I only used bombs and bullets. Never used the missiles, because they told the enemy you were behind him. I hope it will be the same in BF3. I could take out the jets no problem in BF2. I didn't have much time in the jets for BF3, but I had no problems taking out a jet with the bullets there neither. I do not know if he was getting warning beeps while I was behind him though. If you fly a lot the hit boxes for the air vehicles seems to be a little to large, based on the bullets I was shooting and the hit indicator and my aim. We'll see. I plan on being a jet whore as that is what originally attracted me to the Battlefield series in the first place. And for God's sake give me my bombs back? Whoever heard of a modern day jet without bombs in a time of war?
 
If your referring to my post Soulzz, then yes I am serious. Flying was and still is my favorite thing to do. BC2 pretty much stopped that with the ridiculous ceiling and the lack of jets. If your not going to give the jets bombing capability then take away the Stinger missile, since they will only be fighting other jets and not be helping the team take an objective at all.

In BF2 as a pilot my primary objective was to take out enemy fighters and bombers and then drop bombs on whatever flag we were trying to capture.

Exactly what a good fighter pilot should do. I loved taking out the other planes and bombing the shit out of tanks and infantry. I hope to do so again-if they actually equip the fighter the way it should be from the get go. My best round in a jet was 75-0 on Wake Island; that was a fun round.
 
I think they should delete that you can spawn in a jet over deploy menu or you can only go over deploy menu in a jet.
 
Awesome game! Except for the Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon kit I did really well. I'm not sure what kit I will start out with if I decide to even keep playing. I'm still leaning towards the 'Aimbot for 50 and above'.

I'd like the Bot that B3ard3d_Clam uses, I think I could really kick some arse with that one.
