BF1

Is the ultimate worth the $100+ or just get the $50 and wait for dlc? What are the benefits other than dlc preorder that justifies the extra $80?

Quick warning about GMG. I just bought the game from them and they sent me an invalid key. It took them 4 days to get me a new one. I hope that doesn't happen to you guys but still something to think about.
 
So it's been about two weeks since release.

As far as my favorite map, Empire's Edge easily takes my pick. Beautiful and fun to play in the ground and Air.
Most least liked map for me is definitely the Argonne Forest map. It's like Metro and Lockers had a baby but without a ceiling.
It would probably be decent fun if Everyone wasn't running shotguns.... but ya know.

My take on the other maps and runner ups:

St. Quentin Scar: Beautiful ma, great infantry and tank fights but real bad for flying
Suez: Sniper and Mortar Haven and pretty small in size(only 3 bases)... ugh
Monte Grappa: Map is great for infantry but horrible for flying since the AA's are elevated
Amiens: It gives out a "Saving Private Ryan" vibe. Very Immersive.
Fao Fortress: It's fun and chaotic at times. I'm 50/50 on this.
Ballroom Blitz: Good map, plagued by gas grenades at times. Not bad though. Risky to fly in.
Sinai Desert: Still a very fun map except tanks are a bit too beastly in it. Probably the most balanced map for planes.
 
Here is a tip if you buy games from GreenMan, G2A etc...

Buy it with Pay Pall, if they send you a incorrect key or if something goes wrong, just go to Pay Pall and
put a dispute on the transaction.

Once you ask them to give you your money back, they respond the same day.

G2A even with the shield active can take over 2 weeks, I never use the shield as its an additional $5 for me.
2 problems with G2A were fixed over-night by filing a dispute through Pay Pall. (2 keys with a typo)


My take on BF1: ITS FLIPPIN AWESOME!!! (when EA is up and running) well worth $60

they had a supply issue. I've been using them for years without issue. They are on the level compared to somewhere like cdkeys.

FYI. I have not played but BF1 but it is discounted at FRY's for 47.86. :)
 
WE’RE TWEAKING THE SUEZ MAP

Based on your input, we are changing the layout of the Suez map in Conquest to make the matches more balanced and the map size more fitting. We have expanded the layout to feature five instead of three flags. We’re also reducing the capture area size of the two control points located within the map’s villages (currently flag A and C) to create more dynamic matches. Furthermore, we’re adding one armored vehicle to each team’s base to give dominated teams a better chance to quickly get across the map and capture a control point behind enemy lines.

FOG OF WAR: INTRODUCING CUSTOM GAMES

As the first Official Custom Game, Fog of War will premiere at Battlefest. In this unique Team Deathmatch experience, you will be challenged by limited sight as you’re fighting in fog with the mini-map and soldier name tags turned off. You’ll find Official Custom Games in the Battlefield 1 Multiplayer menu.

NEW BATTLEFIELD 1 UPDATES COMING THIS MONTH

During the month of November, we will release a major update for Battlefield 1, filled with various tweaks and improvements. Among other things, we will be adding the Rent-a-Server Program, a new Custom Game and tweaks to matchmaking and server balancing.
