BF3 origin preorder issues

Is anyone preordering BF3 through the origin(EA store) I wanted to do this cause all of my other BF games are on origin. But when I load up the origin store it just says that there is an error and I can't load the store's page. I was wondering if it was related to the fact that I'm in Iraq. An I can't access the EA website from work due to the Uber restricted internet access the Military has.

If I digitally preorder from gamestop, I wonder if I can then add my game code to the origin account and have it show up there.

All else fails I'll be on vacation shortly after BF3 comes out and I can pick one up at the store.
 
If I was to pre-order, it would be through Steam. From what I hear, Origin has tons of issues.
 
i pre ordered on origin... working fine with me showing up in my games list as unrealeased... store works fine too
 
That's the point. I like Steam. Why can't they be logical and use Steam! Everyone else does it!
 
Right lol. In the end itll probably be on steam but it will also likely be after release so oh well. I havent decided where im getting it from yet.
 
Yes, but that's EA's problem. Every other publisher/developer puts their games on Steam.
