So it came to my attention that we need to make a vote on a possible rule change for Battle Royale.

It was suggested that in Battle Royale we should only be using the Iron Sights and No attetchments for the Weapons we are given to "level the playing field."

While I personally am against this, I say we leave it up to you, the fans. to decide!

While I am on the subject, I have decided to reitre the Phantom Fun Time event from the Bungie Games. It has fallen from popularity, despite it being where the Bungie Games began. I will in it's stead increase the BR rounds and still play Chain Smoker for a bit of a fun wind down at the end of the night.

The Polls will close on Monday, May 11.

I am here again also asking for donations to keep the prizes coming. Summer is coming. I am almost out of pay checks. Most has come from my pocket, and I have rent to pay. I hate doing this, but I want to be able to give away awesome prizes! PM Me if you would like to make a donation whether monetary (these can be sent through paypal to s_r_schneider@yahoo.com), or a certain game you want more players with you!


Expect the announcement thread after the vote. I have the date set tentatively for...

Well I had fun either way with regular sites or not. The weapons I was given I didn't have attachments yet. I was still able to get a few frags in. Were do I donate for the prizes?
 
Battle Royal was random, you didnt know what you were going to get and some people definitely had a better advantage with their kit then others. They BR wasnt a level field it was turning your weaknesses into strengths. Then you take your spoils and get better. The exception i could see to this is if someone is constantly getting a no attachment kit roll. Maybe allow a reroll if it becomes an issue? just like if you dont have the main weapon?
 
or.. have 5 kits for 5 rounds..no attachments.
that way after 5 rounds, all players have played he same kit once.
One from each class and then some horrible gimmiky kit (like ALL the ones i rolled last Bungie Games lel)

The cream will rise to the top..always.

after 5 rounds, add everything up
you'd have
a points leader
a KDR leader
and a kills leader
for example.

It would be 'fair' since everybody would have, over the course of the 5 matches, all used the EXACT same loadouts as each other.
If a player STILL somehow, does not have then gun unlocked, then maybe they have to use the n00b gun of that class....
 
It's not supposed to be fair, it's supposed to be random. Winning takes a combination of luck and skill with the equipment you are given.

All these kits were randomly generated much like the bags in the movie that inspired this event. The point of the event was to work with the cards you were given to try your best to survive. Not everyone gets what they are good at. It's meant to take you out of your comfort zone.

I am going to add a few more "awards" to the games to make up for the loss of Phantom Fun Time. I

We worked hard to get the attachments we have. So I think we should be able to use them. But I propose this, we can satisfy both parties in this discussion by doing half the rounds with attachments and half the round without. Seems reasonable right?
 
My vote is no. If you like playing BF4 I would think you would unlock most of the kits by now. If not then that gives you incentive for the next game. There are some kits I will never have proficiency at such as the recon kit. If I roll that then oh well I'll deal with it.

Yes we could play the game like it just came out. The iron sights aren't that bad. Using them in the games will only add to your proficiency.

Again, this is just my opinion. Man!
 
just a thought but a close quarter map with that 3 grenade launcher only :p
 
Originally I was against attachments, but now I beleive we should allow them, someone put the hard work into unlocking everything in the game, Why not let them use it?

BR Is about adapting and surviving and being lethal with whatever kit you get.

also there will be plenty of kits on the ground if you wanna change it up lol
 
Yes! We could do a "running with the bull" theme. No "weapons" allowed. Last one alive wins?

I do love the games in their current iteration and have always had fun when I'm able to make it.
