Anyone selling anything?

Im running Gfarce 560 atm.

Id like something like another 560 to run sli or just a straight out upgrade.

Fuck that, Bob. Spend $90.00 more and get a GTX 680.

If you're going to get a new card do yourself a favor and save up for a nice one. When you sell it to move on to the next, you'll get more money back which means the new one costs less as you go. For instance, if you sell a 680 for $350 when the 700 comes out and it costs $500.00 all you need out of pocket is $150 and every time a new one comes out you need just that little bit instead of trying to save money and constantly upgrading or getting 2 cards at a time that you can't sell for much of anything when you need to.

That's a really bad buy, Bob. Consider that a GTX 670 is cheaper and performs better. That GTX 580 is really power-hungry, too.

Waflz, what card are you running now? There are quite a few different "GTX 560" variations. GTX 560, GTX 560 SE, GTX 560 Ti, and GTX 560-448. Find a second matching card and run that for SLI--if your motherboard & PSU supports it.

Just a Standard GTX 560 , I believe, I can check when i get home.

My mobo is able to do SLI, but iv heard that its not that much of an upgrade, i could be wrong? I mean i could pickup another GTX 560 for $100....

I have a gtx 560 Ti and was wondering the same thing lately. Should I SLI it, or just get a better card?
I don't have any performance issues so its not a big deal, but if I am going to SLI I should buy the card while its still available and cheap.

SLI can be advantageous if you're trying to drive more than 1 monitor. For a single panel, you're only going to see teeny incremental gains in performance in certain games. And you'll be creating fuck-tons of case heat for very little gain.

Follow Sixer's suggestion and spring for a GTX680. I have the 4G one and I'm driving 3 1920x1200 panels with it in BF3. They're stupid-capable cards.

Yea, hmm anyone else opinions on SLI vs just upgarding to 680? Thanks Jason :D

I'm with Jason and sixer. I ran sli for a while but the heat was a bitch and it just has more hiccups. I would go for one nice one then the future upgrades are easier on the wallet. Sixer's approach has worked well for me as well.

Some games do not provide any gains for SLI because they do not support it and sometimes they actually make things worse. I would say it depends on the game, what else do you play other than bf3 that is graphically demanding?

Im just bottle necked right now, Running I7 3770 , with a shit Gorce 560....

Want to be more on par for recording ect.

None of the games i play are more graphic demanding then NS2 or BF3 , i just feel limited not being able to run things on ultra.

Ok so I guess the only other question is what is in your budget?
