Cloudscout

I was updating some apps I use and it downloaded this shit called cloudscout. I have googled it and people have used malwarebytes to remove it. I downloaded and ran it which it found the issue, I restarted computer and its still there although it says cloudscout is quarantined.

Any suggestions? I really dont want to reformat my computer.

Look at this pic, I never had ads before this and look at the "malwarebytes" and "computer" if you put mouse near it itll open a ad and even worse itll open a new tab for some bs service.

go to a previous restore point, and then clean it off, otherwise ADWcleaner, and ccleaner tag teamed usually gets everything. and if they don't there is a never fail program called format, and reinstall

Update malwarebytes. Then run your computer in safe mode with no networking. Scan again. Then restart normally. See what it does.

ended up following a guide and everything is fine except I lost my settings and some apps
