Im looking for a roomy computer case - with plenty of space for a 1200w psu and 2 gtx 580's. - what do you guys recommend? by the way I prefer a case where you place the psu on the bottom... it just makes sense =P

Until your water cooling system leaks all over the power supply ensuring that anything not touched by the water is fucked too :p. Dont worry I like the bottom mounts but definitly prefer a case with a divider over the PSU, not that that garuntee's anything.

Just about any full tower is going to fit you hell could slam that all in a mid but you dont want that. The Cooler Master offerings are of course popular and the Corsair 800D is awesome if you like spending money. Some inverted MB options out there.

Budget would be good info. Full towers easily get into 200 bucks for anything decent but would be good to know if ur willing to touch 300-350. I assume your not ready to spend 700+

I have a full tower I spend about 200$ about 4 years ago...still works for what I need.. I just dont have the space for that sucker anymore. Im looking towards a mid range tower - I beleive renno has a nice one - has his cables neat and organized as well and seems to fit everything he needs into that tower...it looks spacy and not cluttered. budget would probably spend 50-100$

Rennos case is a full tower and likely well over the budget your in for. I forget what case it is, I think its the Corsair 800D? which is 280 bucks by the way. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139001

Its only a 7 slot so yes it doesnt actually fit extended ATX boards but its not anywhere close to being a mid tower - This is one of his pics http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h220/inthe_backround/20120228_184015.jpg

Then Renno's parts inside a mid tower (when he was deployed) - http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/9358/dsc0228sc.jpg
I run the same case as he did in the desert - http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h337/RainMotorsports/Desktop Build 2011/GTX570/DSC_1234.jpg

You might be looking for a smaller case than you have (You might have something HUGE), but Renno's normal case is anything but a mid tower! Clutchizzle had a monster that would fit an extended atx board and a billion hard drives, something like rennos case isnt so tall but its about as deep and wide as any other. Has plenty of room for cabling.

Corsair Carbide 400R is under 100 has plenty of length for 580's and the cable management is sufficient, still tight compared to a full tower - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...mputer+Cases+-+ATX+Form)-_-Corsair-_-11139008

Six I am suprised they count that as a Full, i mean it has the width and the higher slot count but its barely bigger than the 400R which Corsair claims is a mid.

Good shit though its got the space where it counts, looks wicked and has a drive dock!

Yeah, it's not as tall as some others, but like you said it has the width and a higher slot count. I love all the large fans, the cable management, the drive dock, and the price is good for that too.

Thermaltake does a great job with finishing touches but, honestly, I think their cases are wayyy too gaudy. I've seen enough blue LEDs in my life.
