so does this mean the new and improved TBG systems will be allowing moving titans?????....the big complaint about early servers that ran this game was the LAG when they ran with moving titans.There is another clan running moving titans that upgraded also to new and improved servers and thier moving titan seem very very stable.

just wondering.......

I would like to see All the titan map's on all titans. That being the one's from N.S. As far as moving titans it's up to Fast. Thanks Snakeyezzz also. But the credit goes to the head Admin's for there hard work.
 
we could run moving but i know many of regulars don't like this. Our server has been locked with the same settings for 3 years so i don't think it will change. But should notice better results in your gameplay
 
moving titian = asshole crate glitchers + more lag, locked titan is fine. As for maps, NS assault line maps tends to have rule breakers, perhaps if those are made titan we'll see less problems. Also, I don't see any other NS titan maps, so this could be a nice change.
 
We actually had NS titan maps, but they were mainly empty, so they were removed. Sadly. I think personally adding them to all titans would be cool.

And I've already said once patch 1.51 is released full we should create an all Assault Lines map cycle, instead of NS.

As for NS being plagued with idiots, a few factors. First, its the only NS server, which might change once the patch is released. Second, too many Euro players. Three, (and I swear I mean absolutely no insinuation of disrespect) it is likely frequented the least by TBG players, consequently, less mods on scene more often.

My three cents there.

Regardless, I'm happy to see the server upgrades.
 
i never played NS. I don't own NS. I will when patch is out.
Correct, after 1.51 we should see NS titans making their way to all titans server.
 
As I recall, moving titans is a supreme bitch to admin.
 
LOL Arturo. Moving Titans can be fun, but unfortunately it turns into a Titan gun spam war with all the noobs scared to come out and fight. I have played some great rounds on them though, but it will most likely not happen here.
 
God No! Apart from lots of Lag, Titan gun spam, and dumb ass glitchers.. You would also have AA spam from silo 4 and Titan campers. Moving Titans would be the worst.
 
What about having moving silo's instead? Now that would really make this interesting!
 
well after playing last night I can safely say that the new servers are VERY STABLE. no detectable LAG at all which was superb.

Moving Titans on there wouldnt present a problem. Most people now have decent PC's to handle this game anyways. I'm curious to find out how your server's will handle BC2.....i
ll give that a go today and see how it goes.As far as 2142 is concerned I see no reason that would present any problem with running moving titans at all because the server seems quite rock solid which is very very nice.....ooooo yea baby...cant wait for the patch and the new maps now.Karkand in titan mode?....that's gonna be tons of fun.....so many places to hide on that map.....lol
 
I would have to agree with Bob - moving Titans is just one big titan AA spam war. And after the Titans are centered...trying to capture silos is basically suicide because every fucking Canone turret is manned by all the noobs looking for easy points.

I agree that there probably wouldn't be any performance issues, but I'd say let's keep them locked - our servers' reputation and ranking was built on the consistent game play /settings and the way we admin. We go changing it to moving Titans and I'm guessing we'll lose some players.
 
WELL I supose I see your point......as a matter of reference I just came from a long seesion in the SUEZ TITAN server and with all the eurotrashers the thing held up pretty damn good....no detectable LAG at all which is nice. I usually ping 80 or so from my great white north location in the upper boonies of north canada....lol.....and the server was SOLID.

by the way....I'd love to join you guys but PAYPAL wont accept my application for some dumb friggin reason........any other options for donations?...hell I play enough on your servers...i feel i should contribute in some manner.
 
You don't need a PayPal account to use PayPal. All you need is a debit/credit card.
 
sadly no titan mode i believe but karkand infantry only will be like pwning soulzz's mother
 
I'm curious, but why does the NS server now have a smaller # of slots? It used to be 48, now it's 32.
 
48 is not an issue where is the demand for it right now? It there are people in there consistently, it will increase.
