Erik you do realize United States has over 340 millions people now while Canada has just a little over 30 million? Do the math. U.S. has a lot more people competing in the Olympics so they should have more medals. Look at china. Hmm i wonder how many people they got?. Oh wait what do you know they are rank 1st! We are where we should be. So that board really doesn't mean anything.

Same thing applies with military personnel, or a country's GDP, crime rate etc...everything has to do with population.
 
I believe with China they raise them to compete since childhood if they have talent. I only posted because he was smack talking. Otherwise I wouldn't have said shit.
 
He did not start talking shit that would be GT, he just responded. And i don't care about that, I am pointing out that there is huge misconception with the medal board. People don't really factor in everything, they just look at numbers.
 
FAST normally I would agree, but how do you explain India? 1.2 billion and fewer medals than Canada. PS we're coming for hockey gold in '14.
 
Because it would seem their Olympic program are not up to standard? Money needs to go into these programs too for training etc...

Look at the top countries and gather their population.
 
The Canadian women stomped the field in the women's team velodrome cycling. They smoked the world record-twice and did so well on their gold winning run they almost lapped the US team that got the Silver;they looked like a fucking machine! I love cycling and that team kicked major fucking ass up and down both sides and left their foot in the other team's asses.

Edit: To clarify, Canada beat the world record twice. Once in qualification and the second time they beat their own world record for the Gold. Go stomp some bitches, Canada!
 
what i failed to mention in the talk shit post i made was the person in the photo was fast...... if you have my babies fast it would ruin that figure you have....
