Alright so MotherMan, Me, possibly others cant get the gun glitch to work. I believe it was FarStar that pointed out we can do still camera with the weapon held back by opening the chat box which is of course not visible with the Hud off.
I offer this method to those with 1080P recording capability. We can crop a 1280x720 portion of the screen still providing 720P HD video.
Concept Picture:
Here is the resulting test video. After first and then the Before 1080P scaled to the 720P project:
<iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/H-YWabp1OEA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Was on a public server I believe there was some lag in the player I was recording along with the jagged mouse movement to ruin it all. But it shows what we can do for moving cameras for now.
I am currently working on general tutorials for all video editing software. If you need help in doing this please let me know what software and I will post instructions if its possible.
NOTES:
- Your camera pan and tilt are on an offset. You will have to learn to work with this. You can crop closer to top center it seems.
- Id recommend grabbing some painters tape and running two peices across the bezel to keep your frame easily known. Shouldn't have to touch the screen with it if the bezel sticks out.
