This is a link to one of my brother's projects at DARPA. It was only one, and by far the least technical and off the wall in terms of pure research, but it also impacts lives the most. What the article does not mention, and something my brother never brings up, is how important TBI is to our family, and that he suffered one in a car accident that continues to impact his life today. I know some have seen me post links to this before, but given the make-up of this group it is always good to know that there really are lots of people trying to help out. And Sixer's brother has done a lot of work on the long term impact of TBI's in veterans; collectively they are helping bring about some long term shifts in brain injury research, recognition, and treatment.
