DirectX 12.0 rolling out this month

I have a feeling Maxwell doesn't support any subset of DX12 and their prediction is false. Besides you can always record a demo using DX11 tech and then play it back on VLC player and pretend to play the game just like Intel :p

That said doesn't hurt my choice to wait one more gen at all especially if it does happen. Its quite possible like DX11 the library itself bring's improvements in performance to the older API's.

What I like is that AMD pissed off or pushed Intel enough to finally get their shit in gear. Intel has said for a couple of years now that they weren't going to go beyond DX11 and all because they felt they didn't need to...fuckers.

It pisses me off; everybody cries about the "death of the pc" and how nobody sees a need to upgrade yet what Intel, who used to be a major force for some innovation in the industry, has sat back and added minor improvements for the last 6 fucking years...and yet they wonder why not many want to upgrade. It's simple, you haven't given them a reason to upgrade. Lackluster performance improvements are ignored. Intel's just now talking about maybe adding DDR4 to the next generation's MB. Yeah, that's innovation at the pace of a sloth.

Directwhogives12shits. Is it rolling out on Piss4? Because that's what 95% of "AAA" games are coded for, mostly.

Only XBox uses DirectX, sony likes to use a proprietary api, maybe give a backup to some bastardized version of opengl and then leave studios to build an engine that works around all their nightmares. Best I remember anyways.
