There are way too many threads to post them all, BattleLog is completely overrun with where the fuck is Aftermath threads, I do love it when LICE catches a mass beating. Apparently now 2 hours after the scheduled release time they are tweeting to "stay tuned".
 
Oh boy, BattleLog is en fuego, full on retard strength rage. Time for bed, maybe when I get up they'll be rolling out Aftermath. The last message I heard was that they are going to be progressively rolling it out to Premium members and thought it would be done by the end of the day.
 
Well, if they could just say what they're going to do and when they're going to do it, and then do what they said they'd do when they said they'd do it they wouldn't look like such dorks.

BF3...B2K...CQ...AK...why is anybody surprised at the Aftermath launch being as rough as a badger's arse?

a badgers arse is famed for its softness here... I'd say more like my arse after being in the forest for a week with no real hygiene... all the clumped up shit in the hairs... yeah.
 
Typical DICE patch; after 7 years of this should we be suprised??? After yesterdays first round I knew something was up; I had 25 medals and a round score of 330,000 points, it took so long to show my medals that it the next round started before it was completed.

i did 2/14 on air maps and got 4 air warfare medals.

That patch is one thing, none of you have Aftermath installed yet.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\Update or whatever your path is. If there is no Xpack4 you dont have it yet. That patch was just a patch and a fun fucked up one at that.
 
This is a CDN problem. The current banner on Battlelog says that the update is being "progressively rolled out to PC players" all day today. Basically: their servers and networking were overloaded, likely due to the retarded timing of the big patch and Aftermath coinciding.

But, that's just a guess as to the why. The problem is definitely their distribution channel.

LOL! The moment i got banned the aftermath started downloading, start whining like bitches on forums guys! :D
 
That patch fucked my game files. I repair installed 4 times, like an idiot, to see if it would fix itself and the files were so corrupted after all that I just uninstalled and did a clean install. Unfortunately I did not have my disk and had to download 18.2 gb. Thanks for that. As always, DICE can go fuck itself.

It only fucked up Armored Kill for me and yeah repairs = no Dice, no pun intended. I deleted Xpatch3 (Armored Kill) and redownloaded it. Some had it worse few had it better.
 
So..sounds like I should wait to dl this? At work now and was excited to get home and get these maps but after reading all of this....wtf, dice.

Should you? Lets see no playing battlefield 3 for however long you wish to avoid problem. Downloading patch so you finally play BF3, still getting the problem even though waiting and then still having to DL aftermath after you get that fixed versus just doing it all today?

Your choice. Patch R34 is patch R34 (dunno what the client side version is called) it wont change, if its going to cause problems for your existing install waiting wont change that fact. If you happen to wait so long your doing a clean install then you probably wont have an issue. It doesnt screw everyone and what it screws seems to be random.

I thought at first it was because when I did my last installs i used a backed up copy of the expansions instead of downloading them. Seems like that had nothing to do with it.

Well. I guess I'll be downloading then. I'll most likely need some help if all goes wrong. Im not sure how to get into my bf3 files if I need to remove anything.

I'm just saying, not that I read half of it, I think the roughest ass here is Souzz, I mean, I know Fast as a small dick, but no lube will do that! Ask Soulzz yourself he'll tell you!
 
install drive, program files, origin games, battlefield 3 if the vanilla game works and an expansion or the expansions say corrupt just delete the affected expansions from the update folder. Xpatch1 is B2K, 2 is CQ 3 is AK and Aftermath is 4 once you get that far along. Easiest way to redownload the expansion is join a server with that expansion it will trigger a message.

But you cant play the game at all ever again until the patch is installed. Worst case scenario it fails just uninstall full reinstall.
