Finally pulled the trigger on some 3 TB drives

Been needing/wanting to upgrade for awhile now. Right now in my media server (mainly for plex) and backup server I have four 1TB drives. Only 2 TB usable though, since I mirror each drive. Finally pulled the triggered on two 3TB drives today, which I will mirror and combine what I had separated out onto tw. o "disks." I'll probably keep one of the TB drives for important documents/photos (all synced to the cloud so no raid needed). I also have a 2TB and a 3TB external USB drive that everything is backed up and synced to. What should I do with the 3-4 extra 1TB drives I'll have now? Thinking of building a NAS box and stashing it, with all my media, in a friends home on their google fiber network.

NAS is probably the only cost effective option.
