Got an EVGA Super Record 2 (SR-2) motherboard ready with two processors and lots of graphics cards? Then you may be happy to know that G.Skill has developed a new memory kit specifically aimed towards complementing your system and add to it no less than 48GB of RAM.
The new Ripjaws series uber-kit includes twelve 4GB modules, all certified to work at 1900 MHz with CL8 latencies, powered at 1.65V. Better yet, a few tweaks will make the RAM go at 2000 MHz for even more performance. Adding this much memory should make the SR-2-based system perfect for 3D rendering, data modeling, scientific research and other professional applications.
According to G.Skill, its 48GB Ripjaws kit will become available in August.
